The Killers Reunite With Dave Keuning, Tease New Song From The Studio

After seemingly revealing the tracklist of a new album last month, The Killers gave fans an update from the studio during a recent Instagram Live session that not only confirmed they reunited with guitarist Dave Keuning, but also featured a snippet of a new song.

Imploding The Mirage was the first, and looks like only, album The Killers made without Keuning, after he left the band to pursue a solo career. Over the summer, drummer Ronnie Vannucci teased the reunion during an interview with USA Today. "The tides might be changing a little bit for the better," he said at the time. "The four horsemen ride again. We’ll see what happens. As we get older, priorities change and people need to do life things that don’t include playing in a rock band. I totally get that. I think we’ll look back and say that was a much-needed respite for everybody."

In August, singer Brandon Flowers also divulged that they were already working on a new album. “Every time someone makes a record they say that they have 50 songs and they’re going to release another record. We really are,” he told NME. “We’re going to release another one in about 10 months. We’ve already gone back into the studio ... We did a week in Northern California."

That was five months ago, so hopefully that means we'll get a new Killers album by the summer!
