Podcast host Angela Rye called out Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary after he touched her during a fiery debate on CNN.
During a recent panel discussion on CNN, Rye, the "Native Land Pod" host, argued that Elon Musk violated ethics guidelines after he reportedly donated $6,600 each to seven Republican Congress members who supported Trump's impeachment calls against dissenting judges.
O'Leary began gesturing with hands as he sought to express his opinion on Musk's reported donations when he touched his Rye, who was seated next to him on the panel.
Rye checked O'Leary for the move midway through her point.
“He literally tweeted to members of Congress...you don’t have to touch me!” the podcast host said.
“I did that nicely,” O'Leary responded, to which Rye said, “I don’t want you to touch me.”
“I won’t ever do it again,” the businessman said.
Rye continued to call out Musk for thanking the recipients of his donations on X, formerly.
“But he literally says, he literally, he says thank you to the members who introduced articles of impeachment,” she said during the panel discussion. “That is an exchange of value. That is a violation.”
Several social media users applauded Rye for setting boundaries and standing her ground after a clip of the panel discussion went viral.
"Good for her, that’s her personal space she didn’t like it and she voiced it period," one Instagram user wrote.
“I’ll never do it again.” You shouldn’t have done it to begin with man," another said.
"Why he so mad he invaded HER personal space ?? The entitlement is crazy," a third commented.
